A First for Andrew

Like Jen, I love firsts and had one today.

Since January I have been working on a capstone project with some other seniors in the Computer Science Department at BYU. Today I presented that research at a competition and won first place. I think this is the first time I won something since the Arbor Day art contest in the first grade, and certainly the first time I've ever won anything of consequence. My CV has an emtpy space for the "Awards" section except for when I won Time magazine's "Person of Year" for 2006 (however, that was a shared honor).

So how about that: a first at my age.
